Stokes Hub-CiClevia

July 16

1-5 pm

Front lawn of Stokes Museum, 4302 Quincy Avenue, Cleveland, OH

Join live entertainment centered around the lives and accomplishments of Carl and Louis Stokes. Featured performances will include the Stokes Legacy Jazz Orchestra, The Distinguished Gentlemen of Spoken Word, and The Karamu House. The Stokes Hub celebration will be part of the open streets event CiCLEvia. The Stokes Hub is coordinated by Burten, Bell, Carr Development, Inc. with the support of Tri-C, CMHA, Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood and Councilwoman Phyllis Cleveland.

CiCLEvia, Open Streets Cleveland, temporarily closes segments of Cleveland streets to cars and opens them for people-powered movement such as biking, walking, dancing, and so much more. It encourages a culture of active living and sustainable transportation while drawing on the many assets of our neighborhoods and community members to reclaim the streets where we live, work, and play.

Other CiCLEvia activities include dancing, biking, music, Zumba, food, games and the release of a hot air balloon created by community residents.
