Social Action: A Beacon for Student Success

Event for Tri-C Faculty only

Engage in an afternoon of discussion about Social Action, and how educators can best help students succeed. Participants will have the opportunity to view the powerful photo exhibit, “This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers for the Civil Rights Era” before engaging in a panel discussion and joining in conversation about how Tri-C Faculty, can become beacons for student success.

4-4:45 pm:  Hors D'oeuvres, Visit Photo exhibit “This Light of Ours”.

4:45-5:30 pm: Panel Discussion (Panelists TBD)

5:30-6 pm: Q/A; Discussion about what this means for our students.
