Join University Hospitals in celebrating the 50th anniversary of 50th anniversary celebration of Carl and Louis Stokes' lasting contributions to the city of Cleveland and beyond with Soul Science Lab in Soundtrack '63!

Experience Soundtrack ‘63 a live, multimedia musical performance and artistic retrospective of the African-American experience in America! Originally produced by 651 ARTS and developed by Creative Director Chen Lo, the show features spirituals, protest songs, hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul and popular 20th century music performed by an 18-piece orchestra and dynamic vocal chamber conducted by Musical Director, Asanté Amin. A captivating and immersive video of animated archival footage serves as the backdrop for the soundtrack to the revolution. Plus, hear commentary from some of the movement’s renown voices, like Dr. Cornel West, renowned poets Sonia Sanchez, Abiodun Oyewole of The Last Poets and more.
