January 19, 2017

John Carroll University welcomes the Most Rev. Edward K. Braxton, Ph.D., S.T.D., Bishop of Belleville, Illinois, who will speak on race relations and the Catholic Church.
During this past year, the racial conflicts seem to have been exacerbated, leading to a much needed conversation within the Catholic Church in the United States about the ongoing challenges Black and White Americans continue to face. During this presentation, Bishop Braxton will address several key questions about contemporary race relations in the U.S. and how people of faith, particularly Catholics, can respond to those realities.
This event is free and open to the public.
Visitor parking is free at the Dolan Science Center.
